Lake Shore Fashion

Lake Shore High School has all different styles and fashion. Fashions range from sporty, hipster, alternative, 90’s/y2k, basic, etc.

Mario Berry, senior, is a perfect example of streetwear and casual. He likes to change up his style every so often, and has options for many different outfit/style ideas, as he explains,“…I don’t know just different days I wanna wear something different.”

Berry was inspired by Virgil Abloh who was very known for his fashion and even was an artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s menswear.

“I’m motivated to get up and pick out an outfit because I like showing off my clothes and shoes.” Mario said.

Many people aren’t able to pick out a certain outfit every day, and will sometimes just wear a more comfy or “boring” outfit. But, Mario is very interested in fashion and is passionate about his style making it easier for him to have motivation.

Sophomore Skylar Merten is on a totally different spectrum of style which could be considered hipster or 90’s. Merten explains, “Over quarantine, I had lots of time to experiment with different clothes…”

“I don’t change my style too often. It’s a lot of work to get a whole new wardrobe,” Merten said. Changing styles could be too much but also could be hard to get used to for some people.

Lake Shores fashion variety is huge. You can always count on Shorians to dress creatively.
