On the morning of Tuesday, April 2nd, the district art show hosted by Lake Shore High School helped families come together to appreciate the art Lake Shore’s fellow students created.
Lake Shore Public School’s yearly district art show showcases the amazing artistic talents of grade 6-12 Lake Shore students.
Ingrida Kamis, Lake Shore High School’s newest art teacher, states, “There were well over 150 pieces showcased from students here at Lake Shore Schools.”
Lake Shore High School’s very own art club pitched in more than just paintings and sketches. The art club helped raise money for more supplies and projects by setting up a delicious bake sale.
Advance Placement students including Julian Smith, Marina Crippen, Hanna Flynn, and Isabella Smith said, “It’s really nice to see the whole district come together this way and cool the other student’s pieces.”
If you unfortunately missed the art show this time don’t stray because there will be plenty more coming soon! You can also see plenty of student-made art in the halls of all Lake Shore Schools.
