Freshman, Christopher Foster, starred in an independent film To Crush A Flower that premiered May 3rd to audiences at the Senate Theater in Detroit.

Foster is the main character. He plays a young boy who experiences racism as well as neglect from his drug-addicted mother. The movie is actually about the childhood of the producer.
Foster was interested in this role because he feels as if playing as characters gives him a different perspective of life, and maybe how it could be for other people.
To Crush A Flower was Foster’s first paid acting job. Foster is in other acting activities such as the Detroit Youth Choir, Lake Shore High School’s Choir, and Lake Shore High School’s Production of Grease.
