With football season coming to a close, the biggest sporting event of the year is around the corner, the super bowl! Shorians have gathered to make a decision on who can make a deep playoff run.

Aidan Bennett, Senior, said, “I got the lions winning it all, no doubt they are gonna make a deep playoff run after what they have accomplished this season. The momentum is still going and it looks like it won’t stop.”

Bennett believes the Lions will make a good playoff run and get the franchise’s first super bowl win in their history.

Brendan Fernhout, Senior, said, “Other than the lions, I believe the next team up would be between the Ravens, Chiefs and Bills. Both very scary teams that can make a deep run if the lions make mistakes, it also comes down to who plays the lions later in the playoffs.”

Fernhout is confident that the Ravens, Chiefs, and Bills will be the best next team to win it over the Lions, fearing if the lions make mistakes those teams will not show mercy.

Fernhout, said, “Our favorite super bowl memory has to be when Russell Wilson passed the ball on the one yard line instead of running it with what might be the greatest back of all time, stupidity.” Bennett agreed with this statement.

Bennett and Fernhout both recall the biggest fluke in Super Bowl history, with what could have been if Marshawn Lynch had ran the ball.
