Many Shorians have various hobbies, and interests, and being a car enthusiast is one of them. Many of these people got into cars for different reasons and they all love cars for different reasons.
Cayden Stacy, Senior, said, “So, back when I was around 5-6 years old, somewhere around there, it was more or so starting to watch the Fast and Furious movies, stuff like that, and my dad teaching me how to do an oil change.”
It is pretty common for people to get into cars if they’ve been around them most of their lives. Whether it was because they were watching car movies, or working on cars with their parents.
Brendan Dreisbach, Senior, said, ”Honestly probably just the loud noises when I was a little kid. Hearing the mufflers was what got me into it initially and then just looking under engine bays and seeing everything that was going on and all the sounds that came from there is really what took me off into the car community.”
After talking to different people, from the car community at Lake Shore and beyond, there is more to it than just the experiences that they are talking about.
It’s full of people who are all super kind and willing to help you with your car or teach you about how something on a car works. Everyone enjoys spending time with each other, especially around cars. When positive people get together it makes the community so much better.
When it comes to “dream cars,” it can be anything. Most people like to have some crazy dream car, but not Dreisbach.
Dreisbach said, “Probably an Infiniti Q50 Red Sport 400.”
Dream cars can be any car, for Dreisbach it’s an Infiniti Q50. This happens to be way different from Stacy’s.
Stacy said, ”My dream car would have to be a 2019 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 with the 7-litre LS.”
Very different from Dreisbach’s dream car and probably from yours too. The Lake Shore Car community and its enthusiasts are growing more than ever.
