Tyson Taylor, a junior and former player for the football team, gave his opinion and one of his many “takes” on the Shorian’s football season that ended recently.
“I feel like they had more faith in themselves in the beginning of the season. At the end of the season, they kind of just let go and didn’t put much effort in,” Taylor said.
He had strong feelings about this season and what his favorite part of being in the student section was.
“The player chants were fun, like ‘Let’s go Zach’ or Let’s go Charlie,’” he said.
Tyson enjoys supporting his fellow classmates and former teammates at the games.
“I think when they won against Warren, they really had some faith because it was a good game…it kind of changed the season a little bit. They played with more faith until they began letting it go.”
The final record of the football season was 1-8.
Tyson thinks the players believed in themselves a lot more until the losses started flooding in, where the players seemed to lose what had previously kept them going.
