Over winter break Stranger Things finale came out, which was all anyone could talk about. Everyone has been waiting a long time for this new season to arrive. Students shared their thoughts on whether they hated it or loved it.
“What are your thoughts on Stranger Things’ new season?” Here’s what freshman Gianna Houston had to say, “I think it was a sad season due to it finally coming to an end, and I was upset when Eleven passed away.” Houston also rated this finale a 8.5/10 because she didn’t like Eleven at first, but started to grow more interested. Most people thought Eleven’s sister was being sneaky, but it was just a great plot twist in the new series.
Aubrey Allison, senior, gave her opinion on the finale. “Stranger Things was hyped up and wasn’t that good.”
Allison followed up with, “I rate this finale a 6 because it was good, but it wasn’t the way everyone thought it would go down.”
Allison said towards the end that “I am really sad that Stranger Things came to an end because I grew up watching the show, but I am also happy that it’s over because it took so long”. Many students have been watching this show for years now, and it’s just overall sad that it is coming to an end.
Isaiah Brown, also a senior, said, “It was a nice show and ended wonderfully, and I enjoyed watching it with my sister.” He followed up with, “I like how Will had powers and how they were finally able to kill Vecna.”
Brown also said, “I rate this finale a 10/10 because it left us with a mystery, and it ended nicely and at the right time.”
Whether students thought the finale was good or bad, Stranger Things made an impact on people since it’s been around for so long. Even though the series ended, people still enjoyed it, and it will definitely be remembered.
