Lake Shore High School is always hosting fun, community-unifying events! Thursday, November 9th, they accomplished that once again! A Lake Shore version of the popular game show Family Feud, made for an exciting evening!
Exactly like the real hit family game show, teams, or “families” from every school in the Lake Shore school district competed. The LSHS team was made up of students and teachers. Seniors Grace Hanke and Vance Harvey, Mr. Robert Couck, Mr. Austin Kelley, Ms. Stacey Zelenak, and Ms. Robin Gill, were competing for LSHS.
The tournament-style events kicked off with the LSHS team going against Rodgers Elementary. In game two, Violet and Masonic Heights faced off. As for game three, North Lake High School and Kennedy Middle School competed against one another.
Coming out on top overall, Masonic Heights Elementary was the LSPS Family Feud champion!
Here are some members of the audience, who are reminiscing about that exciting night.
Frida Morha, senior, was in the audience that night. She said, “For my first time attending, I was really surprised by the atmosphere. It was really fun and I enjoyed watching all the schools compete.”
Events like these really have a positive impact on the local community. Whether you’re a student, parent, or even just a neighbor, our community is such a welcoming environment to be in.
Tia Dixon, a senior, who was also at Family Feud last night, said, “I thought it was entertaining, I went with some friends and we had fun!
If you missed Family Feud, no need to be bummed! Lake Shore Publics is always hosting fun-filled activities that appeal to everyone!
