The 2025 Goodfellows Food Drive has concluded with the last day receiving donations being November 21st. The 2nd-hour class that won the competition along with the donut party was Mr. Carney’s class, which had around 106 donated goods. The schoolwide total being 354 total donations, Mr. Carney had around 1/3 of all the donations.
“All donations will go to the Goodfellows organization, which is a non-profit, charitable organization that will collect all of the canned goods and distribute them to struggling families who need them,” said Dr. Bross.
The majority of the donations consisted of canned goods, such as vegetables and beans, which have a very long shelf life. That will be able to be transported with ease to feed those in need. The Goodfellows Organization is grateful to receive all of the student donations.
