Fall’s here, and that means bowling is in season. Tryouts were on November 10th after school at Shore Lanes. Their first game is scheduled on December 1 after school, where they will be playing against Dwight D. Eisenhower High School, also at Shore Lanes. The Bowling team is planning to make it to states with minimal challenge, with many members of the varsity having high hopes for the future.
“I think Dakota is probably going to be the hardest team, but other than that, all the other teams lost all of their good players,” says Michael Windemuth, varsity bowler.
“All I know is that we’re gonna do good. I think our team chemistry is pretty good,” says Ethan Edwards, varsity. “The whole varsity team is very experienced and knows how to handle situations. The whole team, except me, are seniors, so they want to win it all more than anything. I think with their determination for the season, we will end up making it to states and hopefully even the finals or even champions if we really want it,” said Edwards.
Overall, this year is looking to be a pretty good year for the Lake Shore Bowling team. With many players confident in their abilities.
