What else do you have to do during this shelter in place besides watch different TV shows? If you do not know what other shows to watch here are some shows that are on Netflix that you can binge watch. These are shows with extensive seasons, so now is the time to invest in starting from the beginning. 

1) Grey’s Anatomy 

This TV series is a medical drama about a group of young doctors that are interns at Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital. This series focuses on the lives of surgical interns, residents, and attending doctors as they develop their lives as doctors. It revolves around Dr. Meredith Grey when she first starts off as an intern. She is the daughter of a famous surgeon and has to live up to her mother’s name. It also follows the surgeons that Grey works with and all that they go through. The show follows each one of them and their different stories. This series has 16 seasons.

2) Criminal Minds 

This series is an American police procedural crime drama about an elite squad of FBI profilers that analyze the country’s most-twisted criminal minds. They also try to anticipate the criminal’s next move before they strike again. Each member of the team brings their expertise to pinpoint the criminal’s motivation and identify their emotional triggers to stop them. This series has 14 seasons. 

3) Supernatural

This TV series is an American dark fantasy series that follows the thrilling yet terrifying journeys of two brothers, Sam and Dean Winchester. After losing their mother to a supernatural force, their father raises them to track and hunt mysterious, demonic creatures. As they travel around the United States to hunt the supernatural creatures, they face violent memories and threatening secrets that end up coming out to add to their investigation of what happened the night of their mother’s death. The brothers really have to rely on each other as the series goes on because that is the only other person they can really trust when encountering new creatures. This series has 14 seasons. 

4) NCIS

This series is an American action police procedural series about a fictional team of special agents from the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS). Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs leads a group of people, with very different personalities, in investigating crimes that are mainly connected to Navy or Marine corps personnel. The crimes range from murder and espionage to terrorism. The team includes Timothy McGee; Ellie Bishop, who specialize in international threat assessment; the charismatic and unpredictable Nick Torres; forensic psychologist Jack Sloane; and Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard who brings his vast experience in forensics to solve cases. This series has 16 seasons. 

5) Heartland 

The TV series is a Canadian family drama and is based on the Heartland book series by Lauren Brooke. This family saga follows an unfortunate tragedy that has glued a family together to pull them through life’s thick and thin moments. It follows two sisters, Amy and Lou Fleming, their grandfather Jack Bartlett, and Amy’s husband Ty Borden through the highs and lows of life at the ranch. After losing her mother, Amy Fleming slowly discovers her ability to aid injured horses as well as maintaining relationships with those who are around her. The family focuses on forgotten dreams and challenges as they are tested against personal struggles. This series has 10 seasons.  

Most of the shows that are on Netflix have multiple seasons. The shows that are on there have several seasons besides the series that were released just a couple years ago. So have fun binge watching. 🙂
