Every Senior looks forward to their life after graduation, and every Senior who has graduated always follows a different path to take them to their future in their life. But before they start their college life, they still have a summer break to get through before starting college.
Teressa Leahy, a senior attending Lake Shore High School, says, “ The thing I am most excited for after graduation would have to be my grad party. I’m currently getting all the stuff for it, like the catering, the tents, the chairs, and even the yummy food. My grand party is hoping to have a lot of family members and friends, and distant relatives. I’m so excited and can’t wait.”
Everyone can’t wait for when summer hits, especially when seniors who graduated are finally able to do more things than ever as adults!
Zyrah Ocean, a senior attending Lake Shore High School, says, “I’m looking forward to spending time with friends, going to concerts, and visiting new places, whether it’s in the state or outside the state. For college, I plan to go to Oakland University for four years. I will be studying Veterinary Science and Medicine.”
Gabrielle Rushing, a Senior and Lakeshore exclaimed, “ I am looking forward to summer, when I can spend time with my friends, get a job, and get my driver’s license. I want to make sure I am ready for college and have enough money to sustain myself”.
As senior year ends and summer begins, students are heading in many different directions. Some are getting ready for college, others are working, traveling, or just taking a break. No matter what their plans are, this summer is a time of change and new beginnings. For these seniors, it’s not just a break—it’s the start of something new.
