Circles

Throughout the life of Mac Miller, he had an amazing career. He experienced a lot of ups and downs within his career, but he always turned to music to help him cope with anything. Unfortunately, it was shocking to hear that Mac passed away due to an accidental drug overdose.

Before he passed, he released an album. His 2018 album Swimming gained him a lot of attention when it was nominated for Best Rap Album at the Grammys, and it would open the eyes to a lot of people around the world. Fortunately, it was said that Miller worked on another album as soon as he released Swimming, the posthumous album Circles. With the help of Jon Brian, the album has been released.  Miller’s planned a whole concept for the two albums to be somewhat connected together because the message is supposed to be Swimming in Circles

Circles is a mixture of lo-fi beats, indie rock, and some rapping as well. This album gives a very “chill out” type of vibe, but he’s always been very versatile when it comes to making music. Most of the songs hit the soul real good, and other songs can get you hyped and turnt up with your friends. That’s why Miller was always recognized for the bodies of work he put out. Circles tackles the fact that he believes that his life was going in circles, but he tries to break the cycle with this album. It’s only right for Miller’s last album to be one of self-evaluation.

Music To Be Murdered By

Eminem’s reign in hip hop has been monumental, and it seems like there is no sign of him stopping now. Just last friday, Eminem shocked everyone putting out a surprise album named Music To Be Murdered By. Inspired by Alfred Hitchcock, Music To Be Murdered By consists of 20 tracks with features from Young M.A, Ed Sheeran, Don Toliver, Royce da 5’9, Anderson .Paak, and the late great Juice WRLD. This is the 11th studio album from the legendary Detroit rapper, and like most of his other album, Slim Shady did not hold back.

Throughout his career, Em has said plenty of relentless things, and he still doesn’t care. He has had the same mentality for over the last decade, and that is what makes him the phenomenal rapper that he is today.

On his new album, he is still the same. On the album Music To Be Murdered By, he name drops plenty of other music artists that have either dissed him, or talked about him negatively. Shady always responds to his haters, and he makes sure he always gets the last laugh. On his track “Unaccommodating”, he talks about formal rival Machine Gun Kelly. He says. “But when they ask me is the war finished with MGK? Of course it is/ I cleansed him of his mortal sins, I’m God

and the Lord forgives even the devil worshippers/ I’m moving on but you know your scruples are gone when you’re born with Lucifer’s horns.” Throughout the rest of the album, he goes on to make more comments about various artists, and prove again why he is one of the greatest to ever do it.
